About
About This Site and How It Is Sourced
This site addresses questions about University of Phoenix degrees in employer review, credential verification, skills-based hiring, academic hiring and regulated-role contexts. It uses official University of Phoenix materials, accreditor and federal directories, government occupation and hiring guidance, and field-specific sources only for the propositions those sources directly support.
How the evidence is used
Institutional accreditation is verified through the University of Phoenix accreditation page, the HLC Directory of Institutions and the U.S. Department of Education accreditation database. University-specific program, catalog, consumer-information and transcript facts are tied to the applicable University source. Occupational sources such as BLS and O*NET provide occupation-level context; they are not evidence of a universal employer attitude. Employer-specific requirements require an employer posting or written policy. Licensing, certification and programmatic-accreditation conclusions require the applicable governing source.
Use College Scorecard, IPEDS, and NCES data only at the level the source supports. Do not present institution-level data as program-specific, student-subgroup-specific, or causal.
Limits of this site
This site does not claim that every employer accepts, prefers, discounts or rejects University of Phoenix degrees. It does not guarantee employment, salary outcomes, transfer credit acceptance, graduate school admission or professional licensing. Current role requirements, employer policies, licensing rules and directory records can change and should be checked in the controlling source at the time of use.
